credit rating and non payment of management fees.

    Does non-payment of management fee affect your credit rating and ability to secure other loans?

    Nope. Management Companies cannot affect your credit history.

    Only data on financial institutions is included in your credit history.

    It could affect you in other ways- as a Management Company is entitled to secure a preferential mortgage on your property in lieu of non-paid management charges and costs associated therewith. This would be a rather drastic step though (I'm only aware of one location where its happened in Dublin so far).

    Maybe drastic but it is probably the only way to compel a neighbour who doesn't give a damn to pay their management fee.
    ICB would be great as it would prevent them from buying all those nice shiny things they lust after until they clear their management fees.
