Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

One of the girls in the office is wanting to set a password on her PC so when the screen saver comes on you need a password to knock it off.

I've done this loads of times but on the work PC's it doesnt seem to be there !!

Like there is a box called "on resume, password protect" but when you tick the box nothing happens ? like it doesnt let you enter a password, and it doesnt ask you for one when the screen saver comes on/goes off ,,,

any ideas? would if be something our IT detp have turned off?

What operating system is it? Does she even have a password in the first place - or is her PC a standalone computer (i.e. not part of a domain)?

check the on resume password protect box in the screen saver properties box. Right click on desktop select properties then screensaver tab.

you need to go into muser accounts and change the way people log on and off and set a password for the account you want to lock,if you do it correctly when you press ctrl+alt+del it should give u an option to lock computer
