Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

My nokia 6230i has to be charged every day and it's really annoying me now. Looking for a new phone and was wondering if anyone can recommend me something that will last a few days without needing a charge. I've no real interest in mp3 player/camera/movie functionality. Just an easy to use interface and a good battery life will do. Preferably something under €150. Was thinking of the k800i but would like to hear if there's any other suggestions. Thanks

you could just opt for a new battery. Unless the phone is getting very heavy use, that should give you an instantly noticeable improvement at a cheap price.

k800i would probably be a good bet, it's a really good camera and it's not so heavy on the music features, it's a little old but still a really good handset and you should get 2-3 days out of the battery. otherwise, any newer phones battery will last nowhere near as long, the average on any new units is a day

Nokia 6300 is a slim, pretty basic phone. Under 150 too.

Why don't the batteries on newer phones last as long? That sounds a bit like going backwards to me

I got a Nokia 6120 Classic recently and the battery life is brutal. Brought it in to my local Nokia repair centre and they checked it out and said everything was perfect!

Making 5 or 6 calls during the day can drop standby time to just 8 hours!

Brought it back to Carphone warehouse and they said "ya should of got a Sony Ericsson" without a verifiable fault on the phone there was no chance of them changing it for me though.
