Sim sim card in K800i - phone now acting up

    Before I got my iPhone with O2 on Friday, I used a SE K800i on Vodafone Ready to Go. I ported my vodafone number to my new O2 sim and chucked my old now-inactive vodafone sim.

    My wife then took her own Vodafone RTG sim out of her phone as she's going to be using the K800i, but the phone seems to be acting up for some reason and I've no idea why.

    A lot of time she can't dial out any numbers - she can't get any dial tone. She also can't receive any calls - it just goes straight to her voicemail. But then occassionally it'll work fine! Any ideas as to what the problem could be? Both sims, hers and my old one, are RTG on Vodafone, and the phone was originally bought through Vodafone (its got the branding and all) and has never been altered / tampered with.

    How old is the sim card? Sometimes this issue arises because of an outdated sim.

    Try another voda sim in the phone and see if it will work, that way you can be sure its not an issue with the phone.
