Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hedliners are very very excited about our next Event... We have confirmed one of the most well respected Dance Acts to come out of Holland EVER.Hedliners gives you none other than the one and only RANK 1 !

    The place to be is the Zoo Kilkenny on Saturday the 19 TH April for this one off Event.For this Event we will be holding nothing back.The club will be decked out with all Hedliners Decor as well as plasma screens for our own live VJ (Visual Jockey) to work his magic to add to the atmosphere as well as alazer display.To top things off our Hedliners models will be on duty that night to ensure that every one is having fun !!!

    The story started around 1997 when Piet Bervoets and Benno de Goeij met each other at a party. Piet already was into music and DJ'ing and had his own studio at the time. This sounded very interesting to Benno, who had no experience at all in producing. Benno already had a perfect ear for good melodies, due to his classical musical background by playing the piano and the keyboard. They decided to cooperate and the first releases as Pedro & Benno soon followed. After many successes under different artist name's, the name Rank 1 was born in 1998, as a joke. They thought it would be nice to see this name at a number 1 position! But the joke became reality when 'Airwave' hit numerous charts at that position.

    Being at the forefront of the trance scene ever for almost a decade is not something many can say. Rank 1 is one of these very few who is widely considered as one of the key players on within the trance scene in the last years.
    Piet Bervoets and Benno de Goeij have made an serious impact on the global scene with classic singles such as Airwave, Such is Life, Awakening, Beats @ Rank 1 Dotcom, Topgear and remixes for the likes of Cygnus X, Delerium, System F and Mr. Sam to name but a few.
    They are probably the one artist who's songs have been used as theme for events more than any other artist around. Events like: Innercity (Airwave), Trance Energy (Beats @ Rank 1 Dotcom), Sensation (Such is Life, The Anthem 2003 and their remix of Cygnus X's Superstring), it was Rank 1 providing the theme.
    As being one of the very few live-performing artists in the scene they have made their impact on stages world wide. Although they perform live on rare occasions. they were the very first artists to perform live on Sensation and have performed several times live at Trance Energy. But also their Dj sets have been popular in international scale, as Piet's diary is still booked months in advance
    Recently they have been working together with Armin van Buuren and German trance wunderboy Alex M.O.R.P.H., but meanwhile they silently have been working on new material which is about to see daylight in 2008.

    On support duties on the night we have Irelands own Bryan Kearney making his Hedliners Debut.Bryan has shot to fame over recent years thanks to his mixing abiltiy and of course his sheer genius productions that have been signed to such labels as Bonzai Records,Discover Records plus many more...Last year Bryans track "More to life" was also included on Mr Eddie Halliwell Cream Anthems Cd,All Bryans tracks get heavy support from all the top spinners such as Tiesto, Paul Van Dyk, Armin Van Burren, Eddie Halliwell, John Askew, Marco V and Rank 1

    Next up we have Hedliners main Resident Barry D...Barry is known around the South East from his days of rocking Ten Nightclub in Waterford supportin names such as Eddie Halliwell,Marco V,Scot Project,Anne Savage ,YOJI BIOMEHANIKA ,Tidy Boys,Lisa Lashes ,Amber D,Judge Jules to name just a few.He has also held residency's with Aurora,The Music Factory,Ten,Dirty and with gigs already confirmed for the UK and beyond it looks like 2008 will be barrys busiest to date !!!

    Also on the bill have have called on the talented trio from Kildare in the shape of the Nu Skool crew ,Fran Dunne,Deky Furlong,Seanie Flynn...These 3 boys have been making some serious waves at there event over recent months with sell out events now a monthly situation for the Nu Skool crew at there HQ at Cosmos Brown Carlow...The Guys are currently busy in the studio preparing for the launch of Nu Skool Recording.....Watch this space

    Last but not least we have a young Wexford native by the name of Shay F,Shay comes from the recent Hedliners Dj Competition.Expect to hear this name alot over the coming months
