I'm not 100% convinced on this one. The "Alfa Milano" is in fact a North-American Alfa Romeo 75.
This car is clearly based, not on the Sprint or the 75, but on the GTV (which in turn was based on the Alfetta). The bulge in the bonnet would suggest the V6 version. However, officially the Alfetta GT/GTV6 was never released by Alfa Romeo as a convertible, which to me would suggest this is a hybrid/one off/home grown convertible, based on a GTV6.
But, I will stand corrected if someone provides me more info on this car...

...............I agree , thats what I was thinking when I looked at the photo !

Not that either. I'll give a clue (if it wasn't obvious already), it is one of the 'Big Three' American motor manufacturers. And it is not any Pontiac either. ;)

Yes indeed Spanish market only. Came about because of some tax law related to hatchbacks. There is a few in the UK, none here that I know about.

    One more!

Neither had I. I've held the view that the R12 is the ugliest ever (European) car for most of my life. But after seeing that I'm doubting my beliefs now

Renotec's photo looks like a Hindustan Contessa, Indian version of the Vauxhall Victor FE

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 114 ✭✭Renotec

    Spot on!
The build quality was terrible on the Contessa. But that did not stop Hindustan from marketing it as a prestige car!
