    Hi guys,

I need to get my cv boot replaced on one of my wheels and was wondering if anyone knows how much this usually costs (I have a 97 Starlet) and if I need to get in done in a garage or will a tyre fitter do this as well?

    thanks

8 euro for the boot last time I bought one. Places like Kwikfit will fit them afaik.

There would be a nice bit of labour on it though. Not the quickest job in the world.

Last time it took me about 25 mins, start to finish.

thanks for that guys, I was talking to a friend (of a friend) who work in a garage and he said they usually charge about €30 for the part and €60 for the work itself.

That's very dear for the boot. €8 euro from my local motor factors and a tub of grease is about €6.
