Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

A group of us are heading to berkeley for the summer and can get accomodation at Sigma Nu. However this fraternity is substance free(no beer!!) Not that we're a gang of alcoholics or anything but we're just worried that there might not be much craic etc. Has anyone any advice or suggestions?

Any info would be greatly appriciated.

Apparently its been 'substance free' since 1997. People have told me that its not a problem and you can always head to parties at different frat houses, but since 2 people in our group will be underage for the summer it could be a disaster for them.

i sent an email off to sigma nu asking about the 'substance free' and they said -

"No, we are definitely not a dry house. We do ask, though, that only those of drinking age (21) drink in the common areas. What you do in your own room is up to you, but for legal purposes I cannot condone the consumption of alcohol by minors in areas where I can monitor"

    which seems fair enough <snip>
