Poker Forum Sweepstake for Euro 2008

I did one of these for the 2006 world cup and it was a great success,I am sticking this thread up to see if there is the interest in a Poker forum Sweepstake for Euro 2008.If we have the interest I will organize it again.

For anybody not around the last time here is how it works.

Its $20 to enter the Sweepstake,than we have a MTT to pick the teams if you come first in the MTT you get first pick of the teams second gets second pick etc etc.The MTT will have a stand alone prize pool and you do not have to play in the MTT to get a team but you will get a better team if you do play.

Random selection of the teams is better IMO though, if its an MTT I will get some crap team for sure

Why dont you let all the people that want to enter, if they dont finish in the top 34 they get no team.

By the way there are only 16 teams in the Euros.

Hls idea sounds good, play an MTT where the top 16 finihers get a team, or if theres 32 people then get 2 going.

I think this could be the way forward,we will have a MTT with the top 16 getting a team if we get 32 then we will have two.
