Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

this has been happening since last night.

my specs: Toshiba Satellite A135 celeron m520 1.6ghz, 1.5gb ram, ati radeon xpress 200m

Fresh install, nothing major installed on it, limewire etc, everything that never caused hassle on my xp machine. virus killer up to date, as is windows.

after i put in my password, the my docs folder opens up, then nada...black screen in background. can get into task manager, ended explorer.exe and re ran it...everythings fine.

ran spyware check straight away and found nothing but tracking cookies, no running processes that seem dodgy to my (self trained , i'm no expert) eyes

logically it seems that something is going wrong as explorer starts?

anyone come across this? only changed to vista this week (and not by choice!) so this doesnt bode well, i wasnt a fan to begin with!!!

Sounds like more of a problem with windows than a problem with the laptop itself. Moved from laptops.
