    So yeah I'm not able to thank anyone in any forum and now Des F has informed me that he can thank everyone except me? Any explanation? Cheers

    Anyways, to your problem.
    The Admins decided you didn't deserve to give or receive any thanks, I agree.
    The above could be a lie though and I might not have a clue what the problem is.

    I gathered that but is it possible to get it back?

    To be fair everyone did it as a bit of a joke at first, same happened with Pacman. The novelty of that joke has worn off and I wish to use it for its intended purpose
