Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hey...

I have an iPhone, about a month old...

I recently tried to charge it in my car with my ipod car charger, it has not sicne worked...

It will not respond to anything...

Does anyone know how to fix it, or where I can get it fixed?

    Thanks

Bring it to you closest Apple dealer, or better yet, to the store that you got it from.

LOL... I bought it off internet unlocked, obviously I would bring it back to store I got it from...

Doubt I can send it back to apple if its unlocked etc...

You getting a "not iphone accessory" type error...did something equivalent to mine with an old ipod wall charger...not good result...

Yeah, I originally got that message...

Now, it just wont charge etc.

    Not good? How bad? Fixable?

Huh? Are you saying we can damage an iPhone using the Apple wall chargers they sell in shops??? I have an iPod classic and an iPhone so I've been using one charger at home and one in work. Am I about to kill my iPhone???

Not all chargers are compatible with the iPhone. Best to do some research before buying and potentially killing you nice new expensive kit.

Possibly. One I had was old(ish) and import from China so voltage different from what iPhone requires (was ok for iPod which is less sensitive seemingly)...totally fecked the iPhone up. Sounds like you've been using it for a while so should be all right.

Been using it for a few days. It's an official Apple charger just bought a couple of months ago and as far as I can tell it's the same as the ones still on sale in the shop. Hopefully it's all ok.
