    Hi ,
I am in a rural area outside kenagh in longford. I need to get broadband but cannot. I have tried eircom, lastmile, vodafone etc nut cannot get it.

I was reading a post about external antennae for boosting HSDPA broadband and just wanted to know what people's experiences were.

going by O2's coverage map, I am outside by a couple of hundred yards.

    Thanks.

Those coverage maps tend to be over generous in their estimates, but if you're outside of it anyway then a signal booster won't help if you have no signal at all. The size of a 3G coverage area varies too, depending on how many people are active in the sector.
