What are you's all backing this weekend? Got this picked out for tonight.

    1 Southend v Swansea (Laying Southend @ 2.84)
    2 Yeovil v Doncaster (Laying Yeovil @ 4.54)
    3 Brest v Niort (Backing Brest @ 2.09)
    4 Drogheda v Cobh Ramblers (Backing Drogheda @ 1.45)

    Total Backer's Stake: €16.00
    Your total potential win: €80.00

Considering having a big single bet on Brest vs Niort tonight. Brest played Troyes away in there last match and beat them 3-1 while Noirt got beat 3-0 to league leaders Le Harve at home. In there last 5 matches Brest have picked up 11 points where as Noirt have picked up 5 and Noirt have lost there last 3 matches away games. I think it will be a close enough match but I can see Brest winning 1-0 or 2-1 so I think the odds of 2.16 are great value:D

I'm thinking about a single bet... AV-v-Sunderland... Villa will hammer them, there trading about 1.5 at the mo...

    Spurs v Portsmouth

    Get on Spurs

Pompy are without Scumball, Defoe, Bouba Diop, Muntari and Kanu tomorrow........ injured, ineligible, 2 x suspended, rested...... bent 'Arry has half an eye on the FA Cup semi in two weeks time, it is their best hope of Europe as they will not catch Everton in 5th.

    Bolton v Man City
    Man City 11/5 VCBet

    Chelsea v Arsenal
    Chelsea 5/4 VCBet

    Barnsley v Sheffield Utd
    Sheffield Utd 15/8 Boyles

    Brentford v Wrexham
    Brentford 21/20 WillHill

VCBet are out of line with Man City at 11/5. Surely considering recent form Chelsea at 5/4 looks like a fair bet.

    Spurs v Pompy
    Villa v Sunderland
    Blackburn v Wigan
    Boro v Derby

    €10 returns ~€70

Unless it's that Cristiano Ronaldo has signed for Derby, I can't see them winning 3-1! But stranger things have happened. They were looking decent enough against Unireh last week.

Wow dave, putting down 4 fixtures gets you 7-1. I'll have me some of that :)

Think he means all home wins! :) Not a bad bet although I have a sneaky feeling Sunderland might get a draw.

I went for €10 on Spurs, Villa, Boro, Blackburn and Everton all to win, returns €123.

I was going to back Spurs but not going to make it before kick-off so looking for someone else at 10/11 or thereabouts to throw in a treble. Anyone confident of anything. Nothing really stands out for me

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,373 ✭✭✭✭Collie D

Have been stung on this fixture in last two seasons but I really think Newcastle will beat Fulham today @ 5/6. €100 treble with Aberdeen @ 4/6 and Hearts @ 4/5 for a 9/2 treble. Prices available are more or less the same everywhere.

I've gone for a Roma, Udinese and Middlesbrough treble at around 2-1.

All the teams they're playing are bottom or so of the form table and Roma and Middlesbrough are pretty high up the other end.

Also, does anybody else fancy SToke at 1.96?

Not a bad price at all. Only 4/6 with PP which I thought was a bit skinny but worth a punt on that price. Not too keen on betting on the Championship, can be very up and down but think there's value in that bet

Stoke are up to 2.16 now. Very tempting but according to the guys on betfair forums they have no decent strikers fit

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,772 ✭✭✭jameshayes

Sunderland are playing at 8's at the mo - i'd say they will score first - good chance to back high and then lay off low...

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,772 ✭✭✭jameshayes

    Thank you very much!

Had a good day today. Done a single on tottenham and a double on derby and middlesboro.

    Also have a treble on

Everton - West Ham - Draw
Man Utd - Liverpool - Man Utd
    Chelsea - Arsenal - Draw

Stuck 20 quid on it. Think it was around 23/1.

Great weekend for me. My two trebles came off (as a Chelsea fan particularly happy with the last one) and I still feel I made a good value bet on Stoke

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 27,857 ✭✭✭✭Dave!

    fair play man

So who had Wes Brown to score first? :D

  • Registered Users Posts: 627 ✭✭✭fatgav

    not even his mother!!

so who we liking for today's games?

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,772 ✭✭✭jameshayes

Swansea are trading at 1.6 at the mo - that will be a walkover for them - and what is an even better bet for that match is over 2.5 goals at 2.14

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 88,978 ✭✭✭✭mike65

jameshayes you said Villa would hammer Sunderland.

    Mike.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,772 ✭✭✭jameshayes
