Our daughter was doing great up until last week. She was piling on the weight and eating 120mls of bottle 6 times a day at 7am 11am, 3pm etc. But since last weekend she has started to fight with the bottle when we give it to her and is generally not taking more than 70 or 8o mls of bottle now. She is a little collicky but we have started using infocol to settle that and it has made her easier to wind- until now..

Has anyone any experience of this? My wife is very worried but the baby is still giving wet nappies. And she is also not sleeping as well as she used to. She spends alot of time 'mooching' and is waking intermittently because of this.

She could be unsettled because she is hungry, even if she wont take the bottles you offer her. Check her gums to see if she is teething. The suckling could be hurting her, which would put her off her bottles.

If you dont think its something like teething, if it was me, Id pop in to the doctor to get her checked in case their is an underlying cause.

The main thing is, like you say, she is still weeing, so shes not very dehydrated. Keep fluids in her, even if its not as much as you would like. Try spooning fluids in, if she wont suck.
