Hi all, I have a mature cherry blossom tree(15 to 20 feet high) in my garden and in the last few years the ground one side of it has begun sinking. Hi all,

I have a mature cherry blossom tree(15 to 20 feet high) in my garden and in the last few years the ground one side of it has begun sinking. The diameter of the sink area is about 2m and 30cm deep! The tree does not appear to be leaning towards the hole and I have NO idea what is causing this. It is slowly getting worse to the point where the soil is cracking at the top of the sink area furthest from the tree.

I presume the tree is the problem, and if so;

what is causing this to happen it and is there anything I can do PLEASE!

Any help would be hugely appreciated.

Is the tree leaning/growing away from hole. I suspect you're tree is exposed to high winds and roots are rising rather than the garden sinking. If I'm right its time to call a tree surgeon.
