Dragonball Live Action Movie

So Im surfing along, looking for a new avatar to replace my kid goku. When Google pops up a few hits for a live action dragonball movie that has begun filming. As of yet no official trailer or poster has been released. Just a bunch of fan-made crap. IMDB has listed it as official and in the filming stage. Set for 2009…

I heard rumours he will turn super saiyan, but if he does not, I won't mind. Goku never turned Super Saiyan when facing Piccolo or in Dragonball. This is depicting Goku's youth, so the first film might just deal with the Dragonballs and learning about who he is.

Big fan of DB and also no Krillin??? The story with this movie is the writers just messing about with it and making stuff up which isn't needed as the story is already there.. One thing i noticed in the trailer is that Master Yoshi says that the Dragonballs where made by man which is not true the Namics made them.. Still have my doubts I mean fox wasted some time in this movie with Goku going to high school and dealing with bullies? I mean what a spiderman type waste..

But who knows maybe this could be alright but will never ever amount to the manga and anime..

Piccolo... they almost have it right I think. He is really lacking without the antenae though. As for the martial arts, its kinda like Bullet Proof Monk - you arent suppose to like it, but you do.

Anyone else watched the brand new Dragonball Z OAV anime?

It's set 2 years after the Buu saga. It's nothing amazing... but it does act as a great reunion with all the characters and pretty much everyone gets something to do.

Not much of a bad guy in it though.

, just found a stream on a site but its subbed in french: so totally useless :pac: seems like a rather lighthearted and silly take on Z though.

It's a younger brother. His wife is pretty awesome though.

It's very much in keeping with the series. But it's really just a chance to say hi to everyone again and not really an exercise in telling a great story.

If you can get your hands on a high res copy it looks great as well.

Oh and I think wikipedia links to an English sub.

I seen what i taught was a movie of it, where they all get together at Satan's house and these two strange brothers come after
Vegeta's Brother and wife
although it was in Japanese it was great to see it all again.

kill me for this sh!te....but i cant resist to watch it in cinema...probably will end up with a depressed mood...

wtf do hollywood keep ruining everything???and the next one... the evangelion movie...

You can't really pass that kind of judgement without seeing any kind of trailers, footage, stills or teasers. Not that I have high hopes for it, Evangelion was ****e to begin with.

Will probably still see this anyway. Dragonball was always a Shounen comedy to me, so as long as it makes me laugh I'll be happy. Though I was disappointed to hear that Piccolo won't be trapped in a Rice Cooker.

well,man,Hollywood did ruined most comic book/manga adaptation

so far,resident evil 1 is the only one which is acceptable.transformer is another one i'd guess

p/s:btw,i did see the trailer in cinema......i laughed....
