I'm heading to the US in the morning and i'm wondering what games etc will workon my home machines.

I know the DS are region-free and that the Wii is not. What about...

    PSP games/UMDs
    XBox 360
    PS3 games/BluRays

I know some are and some are not...is there any way of telling?

    Thanks,
    Tony

    ok, here's a list.

    DS - region free.
PSP - games region free, UMDs not.

Xbox360 - games region free (but up to developer), HDDVDs are. *EDIT* my typo HDDVDs are region free.
PS3 - games region free (but up to developer), BluRays not.

the best way to find out if they are region free or not would be to google them before you go, as far as i'm aware there is like less than 10 games or none region locked on the ps3 anyways but there is the option for the developer to region lock it if they want.

I was of the impression that no games were region locked on the PS3.

unless i was dreaming or drunk i think there was a thread here that had people giving out ****e because some game being bought from play-asia or somewhere like that was region locked.

People were complaining because Stranglehold was reported to be region locked, but that turned out to be untrue.

As far as I'm aware there are still no region locked PS3 games to date.
