'93 Tipo 1.4, grey. Broke down all the time.
'98 Civic 1.4, 2dr sky blue 3 yrs old @ the time. Most I've ever spent on a car
    '95 Punto 1.1, black (when I couldn't keep up the payments:D)
'92 Civic 1.5 black (among my favourites, actually)
'94 Integra 1.6, black bought when every 2nd car wan't an integra- most disappointing car I've ever had
'96 A4 1.9TDi, red- worst car ever bought off a main stealer's forecourt but was a dinger when I was done with it. Not as economical as the pub patrons will tell you and not worth the price tag.
'98 A4 1.9 TDi Quattro Sport in silver- best car I've ever had
'95 520i, grey- rebound car, I just missed a beautiful 525i auto and this was nothing compared to it so I didn't keep it long
'91 325i saloon in red- cheap, fun car, rough as a badger's ar*e. Again, beautiful when i was finished with it- like new and top of the range.
'98 A6 2.8 Quattro Sport in grey- aaaahhhhh!!! Nice to have an Audi again without the premium price of a diesel engine.

Also ran; Courtesy Volvo 940 for 2 weeks- I've liked Volvos since.
Friends '94 Maza 323 for 2 weeks. Meh.
Drive me brother's Legacy sometimes- brilliant, brilliant car.
His old mk2 Golf GTi- frightening
I can remember the reg's of every one
lots more but nothing of note

    Next? CLS AMG

71 mk1 Escort (Crashed into ditch on 2nd Lesson with Dad beside me - I don't think think I'm yet forgiven)

69 Hillman Husky (weird Imp derivative , looked like a mini hearse, would weave once past 60 and the tailgate would fly open.

75 MK111 Cortina ( Nice and shiny and red but had no floor in the boot and the gearlever would come off in my hand- (fnnnr fnnnrr)

74 Morris Marina coupe (too horrid for words)

75 Austin All- Aggro ( strange square steering wheel and the gearbox disintigrated on a ramp in a multistory car park. Met the fella who sold it to me i a pub the following Christmas and he gave me £50 of the £100 I paid backwhen I told him . He was Very drunk .I was lucky
    .
74 Mini Clubman estate . had brown vinyl fake wood down the sides. Urrrgh.
Got stopped by the cops doing 90 on the m25 taking my 80 year old Granny back to London. She was asleep , they thought it was very funny she could sleep through the racket.

78 Vauxhall Chevette. Swapped the mini and a portable telly for this. Grand reliable car. Nice to drive ( Compared to what I was used to!) Holes developed in the tops of the wings and were duly repaired with cardboard, gaffer tape and duplicolor.

80 Skoda Estelle. great fun to try to get the tail sliding. Surprisingly reliable until a mate stuffed it in to a roundabout after agueing with his ex wife and consuming too much whiskey. Arsehole.

Gap of about ten years (company transport) then-
1989 Fiat Uno 1.0. Loved this car. The only car I ever named . He was called Fred. Bought from my sisters boyfriend, who drove VERY slow, with only 30 k on the clock after 7 years. Very reliable ,just kept going, put 70 000 onhim, much of it flat out thrashing on motorways with canoe and/or mountain bike on roof. Gave him to a friend in the end because I could not bear him going to an unworthy stranger.

1963 Volvo Amazon. Bought from an Iranian/Swedish guy who was working with me. LHD and still on Swedish plates. I was actually banned for speedingwhen I bought this and planned to tinker with it while banned and register it when I got my licence back. Of course I could not resist the odd spin around London. Very old car and foreign plates I figured the cops would leave me alone. They did too.

1969 Volvo Amazon. Traded in the Swedish plated one for this one in better shape and completely legal again after my naughty spell. In better shape and much loved. Eventually destroyed by Irish roads and weather after I moved here. Sold to local restorer. Still in his barn as far as I know.

1994 Citroen C15 van. Bought to move to Ireland in. Horrid. Drove back to the UK after a few months , ditched with my Dad to flog and brought back the Amazon.

2000 Mazda Demio 1st joint car with my wife. Nippy enough for a little un and suprisingly comfy on a long run.

2002 Ford Mondeo. Great handling , a real drivers car (for a family saloon) Still have it.

2004 Renault Trafic First brand new vehicle I owned. Nice to drive , unreliable piece of crap.

2008 Ford Transit . just 2 weeks old and I love it. Maybe does not handle quite as well as the Trafic, or I'm still getting used to it. Should be much more reliable though!

    Mine:

-1.25L Fiesta (Brilliant fun and chuckable)
-E36 BMW 323i (Love the car to bits. Hard to fault apart from some mechanical failures over the years :()

    Others:

    - Seat Alhambra TDI. Big. Diesel low end grunt a refreshing changing to revy petrols
    - Opel omega 99, 2.0L/ Slow, feels like a boat on corners. Not fond of driving it at all.
    - E30 BMW 318is. Great raw basic feel. A sense of occasion when behind the wheel.
    - Ford Taurus 3.0L auto (USA). Comfy, wallowy. Drum brakes at the back.
    - Chevy Uplander V8 (USA). Big, not as thirsty as I expected.
    - Nissan Almera 1.4L. A reminder of how easy Japanese cars are to drive. No power.
    - Mitsu Galant 1.8, 1999, Easy to use, light, nice handling.
    - Ford Mustang 3.0L auto 1999 (USA), No as fast as I hoped. Lousy handling. Didnt like being pushed. Thirsty.
