I have to post this. I went to a pub , the other night. Not my normal haunt. The point that I was (badly) trying to make was that just because the push-bar fire exit was 'closed' does not necessarily mean that it wasn't locked as a 'closed' fire door can still be opened from the inside and therefore may be seen as a potential nusiance by a pub/nightclub operator.
