    Hi All,

I was wondering if anyone could tell me the paint code for this car. My car is going in to re-sprayed tomorrow & i need the code for it asap. Seeing as it's a bank holiday, i can't call a showroom and get it from them.
Here's the colour i want my car to be

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I can't even find it online anywhere, or else i'm looking in the wrong places :(

    Thanks a mill :)

Looks more like Indigo Blue but could also be the slightly lighter Vivid Blue.

I'll try and find the codes.

They use to have a vibrant blue as well called Exciting Blue (Yipee!!!).

HYUNDAI INDIGO BLUE PEARL 2X 2006-2008
HYUNDAI MOONLIT BLUE PEARL WN 2003-2007
    HYUNDAI SKY BLUE JY 2007-2007
HYUNDAI SKY BLUE MET US 2006-2008
HYUNDAI TIDAL WAVE MET XX 2003-2007
HYUNDAI TRITON GREEN PEARL VZ 2004-2007
HYUNDAI VIVID BLUE MET BV 2006-2009

You better know the name of the colour for sure. It would be terrible to paint it in the wrong shade.

I haven't a clue which one it is. Too bad there's no way to find out online:(
I'm gonna do a bit more checking and see what i can find out.

Thanks again for all the help :)

http://www.carzone.ie/used-cars/Hyundai/Coupe/1.6-FX/930676/ - This one looks like Indigo Blue

where as this one like vivid blue - http://www.carzone.ie/used-cars/Hyundai/Coupe/car/946627/

I wouldn't take any chances. Get in touch with a dealer to make sure you know the name of the one you want.

The McKeons one is partially against a very high wall (restricting daylight) so it may not be an accurate photo. The lower photos seem to show a more vibrant blue when the sun is catching it right.

Indigo's by and large are usually closer to navy so if it a more vibrant/electric blue you want, it could very well be the other.

Cheers. I'll ring Hyundai in the morning. Sure he still has to strip off the original paint & sand it down so that will take at least a day or more.
Thanks again for all your help. Cheers :)

did u try and fine the paint code on the car itself? might be on a sticker inside the sill when u open the drivers/passengers door. I drive an audi a4 and had the same problem but found it on the spare wheel well,

I did think of that but i don't know anyone who has one in that colour. And i can't imagine asking a stranger lol.
    but thanks anyway :)

    hi Guys

I rang Hyundai this morning. The colour i'm looking for is vivid blue. Apparently the code is BV. Can anyone confirm this for me, i would've thought it would be longer or have a few numbers in there.

    Thanks :)

See my post #4 - 2nd from bottom line.

Any good motor factors will be able to mix it up with this code. Or else go to Vinny Byrne.
