First of all, thanks for your quick response to my query.

I can purchase an ati radeon 9700 mobility 64mb on ebay from the uk. Its condition is refurbished, but if it works grand, great. I can get it for about €50. Im just wonderin' would there be a dramatic drop in performance from the radeon 9700 128mb (which is in my laptop at present), to the 64mb one. I only really play relatively old games such as pro evo, snooker championship and half life 2.
I dont have any problems playing these games on the 9700 128mb gpu.
