worst petrol station ever?????

just want to know has anyone ever experience really bad service in a petrol station???for example........

I went into a certain petrol station on the cork rd recently(lets just say its very near to the new roundabout and it has been open for about a year or so)

First off i went to get food from the deli and experienced the most rude ignorant person i have ever met in my entire life. i asked for a roll to be made up and firstly the roll was snapped from my hand and i was answered with a sigh and " what do you want on it", allthe time she wouldnt even look at me, she paid more interest in looking at the group of builders behind me, she slapped the roll together and i mean slapped it!!!!! then practically threw the roll back at me not so much as a thank you or a bit of eye contact.i checked the price on the roll and found i was overcharged by over two euro just for a chicken roll,so i went back to her at the deli and explained that she had overcharged me, she then rolled her eyes up to her heaven and snapped the roll from the counter and threw another sticker on it and threw it back at me, not an apology or anything!!!!

i then went to the coffee and tea machine and found no cups or milk out so had to ask the owner of the garage( i would see him from being in this garage on and off) if he had any cups or milk for me to make coffee with, he responded i'll be with you when i'm ready and left me waiting there for roughly ten mins, when he did come over with the cups and milk he just pushed me out of the way and slammed down the cups and muttered something and then stormed off

i left my roll and didnt bother making my coffee as i wouldnt stay in the shop any longer to be treated like a piece of dirt.i will never set foot in this petrol station again!!!!!!!!!!!!

anyone else out there experience anything similar???

is there any places left with good customer services???

Yes you get those people everywhere, I've never been in there but you did the right thing, I love trying to get to these people

There certainly are places with good customer service left, just make sure you're nice back to the people serving in them as they probably have to deal with twats like this too

Top Service Station between the Butlerstown roundabout and Whitfield Clinic I'd imagine.

there was one time i had to get some stationary so i went to the pencil counter in roches stores as it was then.
the girl working there couldn't have been ruder, no help at all and giving me loads of attitude.
i vowed never to buy my pencils there again. and never have.
dont know what became of the girl, haven't seen her there in a while.

    you wrote a book ?
hmmmnn hmmmnn back on topic a relation of mine was complaining about the same petrol station over the weekend so its obviously not a one off, if they continue to treat coustomers this way they wont have any coustomers left.
personally how im treated at a deli counter can change my opion on the entire garage

2 books i have to read
    "fly fishing " by J R HARTLY

i work in a local financial instituation and deal with customers every day -

i understand some peoples frustration - but i must say - any day im not quite with it - i got to Revolutio bar for lunch - the guy serving the good is unbelieveably happy - nothing is too much trouble - and always has a bit of chat - as too is the chinese guy behind the bar - frienly and accomodating -
WELL DONE TO THEM - may they be a beacon of light to other customer service personnel

You're very fond of Revolution - are you sure you don't work there instead?

I'm just a little suspicious that most of his postings seem to espouse the benefits of Revolution.

Feel free to send me a PM with your concerns, but try not to voice them in the public forum as it starts to drag the topic away from its point and cause arguments! :)

would have to agree with this post

having been in this particular garage on a few occasions have found the owner and some of the staff very ignorant, their overall service out there not very good, i personally wouldnt go there again after been in there on one occasion where the owner was lovely and polite to one of the guys from the garages down the road, he was placing a food order with him and he was butter wouldnt melt and when he served me at the counter he was just plain ignorant, his "charm" disappeared as soon the guy left the shop and dont even get me started on the deli staff in there

as i said i wouldnt go in there ever again, not if you paid me

Good on you and O/P - places that treat customers like this don't deserve to be in buisness. I hope that other people in Waterford follow your lead.

I would love a read of theat book, any chance I could borrow it Sungod. My sister worked at a pencil stand once and she's lovely. What kept happening was every nasty, mean and downright troublsome person in the REGION used to come in and try her patience....how she kept her cool is beyond me. She left and cant't even look at a pencil anymore!

as far as i can remember all the girls on the pencil stand were vicious yokes. you were taking your life in your hand asking for a 2h pencil and some a4 paper.
but i'll take your word for it, maybe your sis is lovely. they cant all have been bad.
