Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Increase font dpi over rdp session

    Hey,
I am running a big screen with high res 1920x1600. I have to increase my font size to about 150% to save myself from going blind.

The problem is I do alot of work over rdp sessions and the text size is far too small. I'd say I could bare it if I just had to click one or two things but I actually have to sift through menus and data in tables on a ERP system.

Is there anyway to enable larger font dpi over rdp. I have checked around and cannot find any settings. Perhaps theres a third part terminal services app I could use.

    Thanks.

yeah sucks big time doesn't it but AFAIK windows only uses intergers for desktop, so you have to decide when you get a display if you eyes can see better than 96dpi !

    Resize to 1280 x 768 or 1280 x 800 - it's 2/3 size and same ratio.

you can shrink down RDP windows , but it doesn't rescale it just drops out lines and doesn't expand them either

    http://dev.remotenetworktechnology.com/ts/rdpfile.htm
smart sizing i Scale the client window display of desktop when resizing
0 or not present - Do not scale
1 - Scale (Takes extra resources to scale)

second monitor and drop the windows there ?

rdesktop is the linux program that connects to RDP
if it could do rescaling then you could probably find a version that will run through windows

    VNC can also scale down

actually if you come across an app that allows you to rescale the entire desktop that would be nice
