I imported my car into the country via the vrt exemption route last april. Now I can sell my car after one year and I am just wondering do I need to get my vehicle document stamped to say I can now sell? I think my document is currently stamped with no duty paid or something like that.

Nope, you can sell away once the 12 months are up.
