"Web gateway timeout" on 3pay in non-3 handset

I use my 3pay sim in a non-3 unbranded handset, and have no problem going to My3, and buying broadband bundles etc, but when trying "Today on 3" and other pages, I always get "Web gateway timeout". Is this common? I am in HSDPA coverage.
