I have a lawn which is covered in moss, what could I do remove it or kill it off?

Also is there any thing that kills off common ivy?

    Thanks.

Sulfate of Iron put out on the grass will green up the grass & after a week to 10 days the moss will blacken , just rake it out & put in grass seed in the patches

Don't spill it on the footpaths as it will turn them rusty !

Glyphospate "Roundup" will kill Common Ivy. Best method is to get some cuts into the main stem and give that a spray along with the foliage. Best to do this in the late spring/early summer on a dry day.
Failing that try Triclophyr "Garlon" on the ivy, careful though, its toxic stuff but it will kill any woody weed.
