Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Wireless Headset or Not?

My normal headset for the 360 is busted. Wanted to get a wireless one but have heard that they can break easily and are unreliable. Anyone got any thoughts on this?

Should I get a normal one (with cord) or should I get the wireless one???

    Cheers

I'd go for the wired headset, I've got both and the wireless is close to useless.

I have used a wireless one and imo its really bad compared to the wired one.

Nah, Wireless is 10x better imo.

I had both but my mate broke my wireless one, now im back to wired and the quality is worse also this is my 5th wired headset because they just break randomly.

Get the Wireless one, soundquality is much better than wired. Picks up too much background in v v loud conditions (>busy XBL Cafes with 10 ppl playing COD4 at max sound) otherwise very good.

only get 2 long(ish) sessions per charge.

Wireless for me, wired when other is charging.

Much better, more comfortable and very handy. Pity the battery life isnt so good.

Ah well, it only cost me €20 in the great xtra vision pricing error of 2007 :D

Anyone know of any good third party wired headsets??

Im looking to buy my third one

Wired. My friends can never hear me over the wireless so either I speak slowly and loudly or use the wired one. Easy choice :)

Your better off with the wired.
Anyways Game has their own brand of headsets with the same reliability of the Xbox ones
and the last time i was there they were selling two for 30 quid

Think I'll check out the ones in GAME today.

I think the camera comes with a headset so you might check that out if you want the camera (for Burnout etc.)

If your going to get a wireless make sure you play in a quiet room or don't have your TV whacked up full blast as they pick up a lot of ambient noise.

Also the battery life is terrible.

Official wired is yer only man. Unbeatable.

    Wireless never, wired 4ever!!! :D
