Time to resurrect my fitness log!

A lot of stuff has passed since I've stopped logging, I've had a Semi-Pro (C class rules) fight, gone on holiday and had to take some time off after I busted up my hand but here we go:

    Fight:
Debut C class fight, 3 x 3 min rounds, compromise weight division.
    Background:
I'd seen some of my opponents amateur fights, and believed he would be looking for a takedown and ground fight, so I had been working on my striking a lot.

R1: Opponent got an early takedown, I pulled guard. Stood up again. I felt I dominated here, managed to keep the fight standing for a while. Landed a lot of powerful punched and at least 1 decent knee to the face. Was taken down again, reversed and took side just as the bell went.

R2: Landed a few punches and a knee to the head, got taken down with the knee, grabbed a guillotine, couldn't finish - looking back it was a stupid mistake on my part. Ate some leg kicks but I had been working on countering these with an overhand right, which put a stop to them. Opponent kept me on the ground most of this round but we were stood up again where I landed a few more punches and got taken down again, took top position just as the bell rang.

R3: Both of us landed some punches, at this stage I was swinging with everything I had and hands were very low. Tried for a takedown but it was reversed and I lost position and mounted. Fight stood up, landed some punches and takedown, held opponent in side control and kneed from here, got reversed, opponent landed some light knees and the bell rings.

    Result: Loss by judges decision.

    Summary:
Bit of a controversial decision, I landed a lot of very powerful punches & knees but did get taken down a lot and gave up mount 2 or 3 times, usually managed to pull at least half guard again. I felt like my opponent was happy to just lay on me when he scored the takedown, which pretty much meant we were stood up after every takedown.
Conditioning wise, I did feel fucked in the second round but I could have gone on for a fourth. Strenght wise, I felt very weak while grappling but unbelievably powerful while striking, I guess this was down to adrenaline but I hadn't done as much strength training as I would have liked.
I'm sorry I was so stand-off-ish on the ground now, as I believe if I had grappled more, I would have got the decision but I also think I could have got the submission.

Big thanks to khannie for the last minute advice and helping me talk through my nerves :) (and everyone else for the strength and conditioning advice).

Cheers lads, I've decided not to put up the fight video, as I'd like to hang onto my sekrit identity :pac:
Also I don't want future potential opponents having access to my training logs, I'm definitely going to be doing it again.
