    Hi guys,

I have recently been reading up on triathlon theory as I plan on doing a few this summer and am curious on how important it is to build a base at 70% as some literature suggests??

I would like to do this right and that but am unsure if how relevant this, I am not in great shape compared to triathletes but can cover 10k comfortably in 55 minutes with some notable hills etc and can cycle 20k in 40 minutes or so,

Do I need to train with a base for 30 days, and will it make me quick, (relative to me NB :D:D:D)

    Thanks,
