    Hi,

I am currently working full time in employment and on the 'side' i am doing some consultancy work for a couple of other companies.

As a result, they needed invoices etc for the time I offer etc.
I need to register a small business as such to deal with this.

I have registered the business name using core.ie (form RBN1).

What else is necessary after this? What tax implications will i meet? My turnover will be less than 70K a year so as i am aware, i will not need to register for VAT. Will my business name registration certificate be enough to open a business account? Do i need to register anything else? Will i be able to invoice people without VAT?

I know this is a lot of questions, i just want to make sure i do this right! :)
