Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Bray v Pats the banker tonight? Any team news of importance?

    Mike.
McCabe and Foran defo out for Bray whilst Tresson Myler and Rowe all doubtful. If those 3 don't start for Bray then 5/6 is a great price otherwise it could be a tight old game.

A better 5/6 in my opinion is Bohemians to be leading after 60 mins V Finn Harps. Byrne and Crowe up front for Bohs could run amuck tonight. Reckon this could be 3 or 4-0 to the Bohs.

    Bray 0-2 Pats

Ominous for the rest of the season.

Partridge MOTM Paisley wasnt bad either.

Bray were very poor and never really threatened couple of half chances.

Never seen so many players get hit by the ball at a football match

1st goal was a corner paisley headed hit someone and pinged in. 2nd was superb play Fahey drove into midfield and laid out to O Neill who was wide on the right who drilled a pass to quigley who tapped in.

3rd goal Fitzpatrick went down the left and played a tru ball for kirby to cross and quigley head home back post.

Our defence and attack were very good, the midfield did well protectin the back four but Ryan Fahey and Dempsey were guilt of a lot misplaced passes and never imposed their game on bray. Bray tried to play a tight game but just not good enough. Clarke had **** all to do.

    Shels 2-0 Athlone

Player sent off for each team. Really could have been 4 or 5 nil to Shels, Athlone didn't see much of the ball and when they did they wasted it.

same at Bohs game... player sent off after bout 20 mins. Comfortable for Bohs after that, Jason Byrne first goal from the spot, Crowe had a good game for a change.

headed off to queenstown shortly for the cork derby. awful feckin weather for it though, lashing down here. and it's going to be cold, it's always feckin cold in saint coleman's park.

cobh available at 10-3 for the win, which is good value imo. anything can happen in derby games, and i reckon rams could sneak a win. city are crap at the moment, and i dont see them improving tonight.

i'll go cobh 1-0, as much as it pains me to say it.

No chance mate, Cork will win this game. Cobh were exposed for the ordinary outfit they were last week by the Drogs. They didn't strenghten their squad in the close season and they're going straight back down. Cork to win.

****hole of a ground, **** performance. Gifted limerick both goals. I have seen better halting sites than that excuse for a ground.

Aye, gifted two of the softest goals you will ever see. Simple ball through the middle for the first.

Or Cork will play out a 0-0 draw and make a mockery of Pigheads words. 0-0 in the end. Hate getting stuff wrong like this. Its such a yukky feeling. Thankfully it doesn't happen too often.

For all Cork's possession play tonight, Cobh carried the greater threat and I don't think many would have argued too much if Cobh had got a winner.

Its just not clicking for us at the moment. The delivery into dangerous areas is awful. I would say there was probably 1 decent cross put in all night and that was from our right back neal Horgan. Kearney is a great little player but his end product is too often disappointing. George playing on the right is a total waste. He was very good again tonight but he would be much more effective when he is getting on the ball and able to make a pass.

Overall it was a desperate match that for most of I was on my tip-toes trying to watch it. Do these matches ever live up to the hype?

Jackamn Park is a kip alright, going down that lane to the ground with pikies looking for a fight on either side or you. Then get into the stadium and you're escorted away from the covered terrace to an open terrace on the fair side.

How they got a license I'll never know.

is that the pitch by the Railway Station i Limerick, or am i way off the mark

My good God, we were utterly rudderless last night. Hardly any shots on goal again, George wasted on the right again, long ball again, awful tactics again.

Our title challenge is over and I dare say, so is any ideas we have of top 3.

On the upside, the atmosphere was immense. Great day out. Well, it would have been had it not been for the game.

stupid cork city. totally clueless in front of goal last night. ramblers deserved all three points on the balance of play, were it not for an absolute top drawer save from Mick Devine from a Conor Meade shot in injury time Rams would have won, and I dont think any city fan would have complained.

UCD on friday, which has draw written all over it.

MNS wesbite gets better and better, club by club guides and you watch the epic 9 man pats beat bohs away with the goal of the season on the bohs page :p

    1 St Patrick's Athletic 4 4 0 0 8 / 1 12
    2 Shamrock Rovers 4 3 1 0 6 / 1 10
    3 Derry City 4 3 1 0 8 / 4 10

3 unbeaten we play Derry next twice , big game for us in both as we have to win. Rovers then in a few weeks ....good times.

You're looking at that completely the wrong way around. Its - It took a wonderstrike for Pats to beat 10 man Bohs.

Why did that pic remind you of that?
