The champions road is epic. Very well designed, better than the old master league mode.

Bought it on Friday and played it for a couple of hours with my mate who was an absolute ham, just cant get to grips with the pointer or controls...struggled a bit myself to be honest...

Gave it a good lash yesterday evening though and have to say the controls once you pick them up you will find it hard ever to go back to a normal controller , it is far superior in terms of off the ball movement of players and you feel a lot more in control of the whole team rather than just 1 or 2 players at a time. Shooting is a little easy but it is the build up play that makes it so enjoyable.

Played an online game last night - some English lad - Ireland V England - got bet 10-9 :( - have Ice Broadband so there was a bit of a lag throughout but nevertheless once I can get a few of my mates to grip with it, I am going to enjoy it immensely in 2/4 player - Champions Road is excellent also

Go and buy it you will not be dissapointed

I've been playing this since the day it came out and I've been really enjoying it, It's quite different to the previous versions of pro evo and defending took me a while to get to grips with, but attacking is where this game excels. It's very refreshing to have total control over the runs each of your players make and in fact it almost seems too easy to score at times because of this! Haven't started Champions Road yet but I have been playing through a standard league to allow me to get fully used to it first. Had some great games online (although they were a bit laggy at times); including a brilliant 5-5 LFC v Milan last night which I almost won at the death. Top stuff!

can anyone tell me how to defend? it is driving me absolutely insane. I'm playng on level 4 in champions road...and i'll struggle to create a chance for ages, which is fair enough, but then he opposition are able to literally walk through my defense..

the man marking is completely useless and theres no way to stop them walking through because when you do man mark your player stays around 4 yards away from their player.

is there something i'm missing out on here?

Hold Z to get him to move in and waggle the nunchuk to slide tackel.

LOL, the missions are how you unlock 4 star players. You have to do 33% of them i think.

finally got the game today, pre-ordered it from ChoicesUK but they were taking their time.

it's a brilliant game. I find defending hard enough though but I'm sure I'll get used to it. I also played 2 games online but the lag was ridiculous and couldn't finish either game. I'd say that's down to my slow interweb but really hope it's not and it improves. anyway a must have imo.
