Spent yesterday evening searching for the Knockroa passage grave in Co Kilkenny, sadly I used the map on discoverireland which I later discovered was atleast 15-20km off where I needed to be!..

Anyway, took some pictures of some old churches and flowers on the side of the road, while it looks abit strange I really liked this one after I processed it

Yeah i know. it was a stop where people pull up to enjoy the view.A old woman had a table with loads of Irish gifts to try flog to lots of Americans that are down there.But this gnome was sitting a couple of meters fom her.

There is a big nuclear bunker under the army barracks in Athlone. It's where the government was supposed to go in case of nuclear war. Though with it being under the barracks, there is no chance of getting into it.

Hmmm,sounds interesting.You'd probably need permission to get in but there's no harm in asking.I'll have a look if I'm ever up that way.

The lad on top suffer's with curvature of the spine. But it never put him off training, and training hard.

Here he is sparing, training for Mixed Martial Arts (MMA, most here would call it cage fighting I guess)..



Medically he wasn't allowed to compete.

I think i may have seen you there actually. there was a guy to my left with a DSLR of some sort, that might have been you?
No she didnt seem to be sweating at all huh, i heard from some of the runners that the celebs started a half and hour ealier than the rest of the pack so they could keep fresh. aparently the race kicked off late when the celebs were long gone.
