    Not what I started out taking but the processing has invoked a certain Gothic/Grunge mood to it;

    didn't realise how sharp the Canon 50mm 1.4 lens actually is. This is a 100% crop (f8, 1/250 sec, onboard flash) . Click for fullsize

    It was an almost unanimous vote for 800 so I think 800 is safe now :)

    I've been a lurker for a long time on this site but I'd thought I'd register and give my praise for what its worth to the photographers that have submitted work to this thread. I think the standard seems to be getting higher every month and I really can see the improvement in certain contributers.

    Keep up the good work!

    Here's a completely random photo - I was airbrushing someone's portrait and accidentally brought the levels bar to the right. Thought this shot looked like something suitable for a horror film:

    Cotton I love the robin pics! How did you get them so clear before the birds moved?

    Mr Grieves, I like that flower!

    Easy, I'd the rake in one hand & the camera in the other, she was watching to see what I'd unearth.:D

    Hey Tadhg! The blue in the second shot looks very saturated to me ...
    I like the first shot, but that shadow is a bit distracting.

    Keep up the good work though :rolleyes:
