Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Dr Gonzo i really like that shot, but sadly am not in a position to offer much advice.

    If i was you i would post for C&C in a new thread and it would get more advice as sometimes things can get a bit lost in this beast of a thread! :)

    1st shot with my new 70-200L 2.8 is.
    No time to go somewhere nice for pics so had to take this and was too close to subjects, but straight away I can see the better sharpness and the beautiful bokeh.

    macro of that watch is brillo pads. Think it could work really well in black and white and a toned down sepia - love to see what it looks like!

    +1 very nice indeed!

    I haven't been shooting in ages, took this one at the weekend though. Nothing overly special, but getting back into the swing of things!

    Bring on Elven's wrath!
    * All images must be less than 700 pixels longest side.
    * Please don't include the original picture in your reply to a post.
    * Making your picture a link to the page it's hosted on flickr or pix.ie or elsewhere is both handy for us nosy lot to find the rest of your stuff, and also generally considered the polite thing to do by the image host.
    * Play nice.

    Nice shot, the wind never let up down here today so my macro plants shots will have to wait. :(

    Mike.

    You have to learn to sway with the wind!

    Tip: hold the branch just out of view of the lense can help in a strong breeze
