Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

They all vary really. Most of them were taken at 1/2000sec F2/F3 and around ISO 400. I mistakenly bumped the ISO to 800 for a few of them but they were too grainy for my liking.

Its not boards bandwidth, it's wherever the pics are posted that suffer!

Mike meant users bandwidth or people on dialup connections. Also it's stated in the first post of this thread that nobody is to quote photos.

A persons bandwidth wouldnt be affected by a repeat image, it would be taken via the cache. And dialup users? On a thread named "Random photo thread v3.0"?? Same applies there.
But if its stated, then ok so.

It's not only about the bandwidth though either, it is also quite annoying having to see the same set of images repeated several times down a page (Not directed at you conkeroo !)

    Anyway,

I'm no expert, Never used processing, Don't have any fancy cameras or equiptment. But I do love to look at photography around here and love trying to take nice images. I'm considering buying a decent camera soon though.

Here are a few shots from my holiday a few weeks back which are not cropped, and not processed images - Straight from a pretty basic Digital Camera.

But the only reason why I quoted the images was so the poster of those images would know it was directed at their great work. If its not a bandwidth problem, whats wrong with putting my comment into context?
EDIT: BTW, your first two shots are exceptional! Great work.

You can quote them, delete the pics and just add something like "excellent pics here" so the quote box comes up and they will know they are talking to you.

It's a fast moving thread, some of the pics are excellent and if everyone who commented on them quoted them it would be endless repetition, the thread would become more difficult to keep up with and less people would post.

It's a thread and forum rule and is just the way things are done.
