Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'm hoping to be in South America August/September. I've heard people talking about Argentina for skiing. Has anybody been there, or to Chile? I think Chile would suit me better.

I was in bariloche snowboarding on cerro cathederal for about 5 weeks. The reason I choose Argentina over Chile is it is much cheaper and for me anyway there are more parts of the country I was interested in travelling to (the fact that it dumped snow so much I just snowboarded made that a bit obselete tough :o). I cant compare it to Chile as i have not been there but I met a lot of boarders who had been boarding over 10 years who all thought a fresh powder run we did the best they ever found. But then seen as your skiing I am not sure if you are looking for really deep powder.
    Hope this helps!
