    Was over in Paris for the last few days. Here's a few pics.

    Moody convection in Versailles gardens yesterday, I think there was a few storms further South of Paris

    A sheet of cloud over the Irish sea as we approached Dublin this morning.

    And some sort of optical effect? caused by the shadow of the plane i think?

    Colossal photo's P. Love the continental convection in the first. It looks so warm!!!. The optical effect picture is incredible, it does look like the shadow of the plane would have caused that alright. Amazing.

    Nice shots there trogdor, I always love shots taken from a plane, the cloud vantage point is hard to beat!

    That's a partial "glory", caused by the same atmospheric effect as the "Brocken spectre" in my "weather in the hills!" thread.
