Hey guys this is my first time posting on the Audio Video section of boards and I am very new to this stuff. I was just wondering is there a way I can import wmv files onto iMovie HD6 OR iMovie 08?

you will need to get the wmv component for quicktime, then they should import

If you don't want to pay for the flip4mac products, you could download mpeg streamclip (google it) and convert the wmvs to a quicktime compatible format.
