I am about to purchase a Hasselblad digital camera that will produce 220Mb/16 bit TIFF files.

Obviously, I will need a lot of processing power. Currently, I am running a DELL dual core with 2Gb RAM and I have tried files of this size on it. Not bad, but not great.

I have just speced this machine on the DELL site>

There is no 8Gb RAM option and the difference between 4Gb and 16Gb is huge.

HD memory is OK at 750Gb since I only tend to store RAW files and DNGs.

My main concerns are processing speed, RAM and graphics card. HD, monitor etc., I can deal with elsewhere, if I have to.

    Thanks.

    D.
