Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I have a problem with my mp3 collection stored on an external drive, where when im trying to use a 3rd party program to add album art i get an access denied message.

On closer invertigation i noticed the follder was set to read only, so i unchecked the box and tried again, still access denied . When i wnet back into the folder proberties read only was checked again !!!
So i tried changing from cmd and i still get the same issue also when i try to move the folders around i get the UAC promt which is quite annoying as its not like its my C:\ drive where you would expect to be prompted by uac.

Edit : tried adding my user name and granted full control under the security settings tab for the drive ....... sigh

external drives are a bit awkward like that with who actually has ownership of it.

I assume changing the owner to your own profile worked?
