Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

This is my first posting of a thread as I am new to the site. I just want to advise that an Aires de Service was opened in Askeaton. It is situated in the Swimming Pool Complex and presently is free of charge. Askeaton is situated on the N69. I was told by a member of the Swimming Club that the Munster Motorhome Club were helpful in the setting up of this Aires. I only became aware of this club rcently, thanks to Southern Belle for information on the club, I did a Google search and found their web site, which is presentl under construction. It is nice to know of this service for motorhome users. Are there any more Aires in Ireland.

Are these things really called "aires de service" ?

Why use a french name ?

cos it sounds better than it actually is...
"PARK & PLUG" isn't actually romantic..

You don't see "leftovers" in the resturant menu?

A bit of spontaneity and a bit of planning goes a long way to enjoying a holiday. Not too much of the planning though!!

I agree "Kol" but a certain amount of planning is needed for longhaul trips, that does not mean they always work, but you need to be able to catch your ferry home, and yes spontaneity is the essence of camping.Keep rolling.;):D
