Broken Rear View Mirror

    Broken Toyota Avensis interior rear view mirror.

    How can I put it back together, ball and socket joint has come apart, i have search some sites but cant find an answer.

    Or does anyone know where I can get a new one!:)

    You'll pick one up in a scrap yard, not too many people ever have to replace them... you'll also find that exact mirror was probably used on lots of different toyotas....

    Thanks. I got it fixed myself, applied very very slight heat to the back of the mirror where the socket is with a blow torch and pushed home ball joint, which worked perfect! (I let it cool down before i tried to move it and had the glass mirror removed).

    This might help some one with the same problem!:)
