    Hi, i know this thread is not really about the boards.ie team but i think this is the best place to ask....

    I want to get involved in a weekly soccer setup. Troube is, I dont know how to get involved. There is no team in work i could join and none of my mates are interested in forming a team for the astro.ie league. I just want a semi serious bit of training and a kickabout once a week or so. How can I find something like this locally which I can just show up to? I would class footy skillz as 'social':D ah well i'm not that bad but not a pro. I'd go for anything, astro, indoor or grass...i just miss playing footy:( when i was in my teens i just went and joined my local schoolboys club (mount merrion) but now that i'm a bit older and the belly is a bit bigger i just dont know how to go about it...

    any help would be great!
