You know the downloadable comic books that are on the NBC website in line with the show? Well the missus picked up a hardback copy of all the first series issues (with a few extras) for €13 in Virgin (or whatver its called now...)

Nice little companion piece for anyone with the boxset

The hardback collection is really nice, Isaac's paintings act as covers for each issue. Very well presented, can't wait for the next volume!

Also, there are two covers. The one on sale in most shops has an Alex Ross cover, with photo realistic art. The other has a cover by Jim Lee, who designed the X-Men's '90s looks (seen in the cartoon). His style is more typically comic book. The second version is only available from comic shops and online. I got the Jim Lee one, since I'm a fan of his work.
