Barring Password

    Nokia e51

    Menu > Settings > Phone > Call barring > Voice call barring > Outgoing Calls > Activate

    It prompts me for a Barring password. I enter my PIN2. It says "Barring password blocked."

    I've also tried the phone security code but that doesn't work either.

    Am I right in thinking that the Barring password is PIN2?

    I would have imagined it was a password you make up that it will ask for when you want to activate calls again. Not really sure

    The phone is brand new. I have not set any password for it. I have tried typing in PIN2 and the default 12345 security code but no luck.

    Customer care (didn't expect them to know tbh) said it's PIN2 but it's not.
