Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

i was with 3pay and it was the best network in my mind and the 20 a month to get unlimited data access was very nice but i just got my self an iphone that will not work with 3g networks so i have to questions

    1. dose 3 have a 2g sim

    2. if no then what is the cheapest network in Ireland for data i wouldn't mind going to bill pay but would like to stay with prepay i just think that 30 euro for 10 gigs is a bit high i probable wouldn't use 10 gigs and the 1 gig limit is just to much to pay for on o2 plus i would probably use it all in a month

3 only do 3G SIMs so no luck there.

I use Vodafone Prepay, it's 99c for a day's internet access (up to 50 MB).
Not all services are available though as you go through Vodafone Live!, but I find it OK for general browsing.

The 3 SIM I have works fine on an unlocked 2G phone, don't know about anyone else. Maybe newer SIMs are both 2 and 3G compatible?

Also, just a correction. 3 put the price of their unlimited (10GB) broadband offer up by 25% with the introduction of the "3Pay Broadband". It's now €24.99 per month.

3 sims will work in some 2g phones but people who do it will find they don't have coverage in the vast majority of the country

it seems completely random, for example i've seen them work in some 6230is where others say "sim card rejected". i can't remember what phones i've seen them work in tbh
