Sorry for being a bit enthusiastic, but I bought a camara today, and I took a couple of shots on the way home from Galway city. The passage of the cold front was occuring at the time. Here are a couple of shots:

Taken about 8.00pm on the N17 facing north. Back edge of front can be seen:



About 15 mins later, Almost clear:



Sorry for crap quality, I haven't a clue how to get right settings on camera yet, + the were taken inside a car with very dirty windscreen, ie mine.
And sorry mods, won't post pics in here again. I am just like a child with my new toy.

Just finished a short sharp hail shower here.
A direct hit so it quite wet the place.
I noticed a lot of trains of stratocumulus around the shoers today particularally near to the ones running down the coast.
Thats an indication of rough weather ahead usually and often thunder...
