When I lived there, they seem to get their fair share, but more often than not came from the Clare side of the Bay, must be something to do with the uplift effect of the North Clare Mountians/Burren or something.

Snowing heavy here again, flakes are small though. Temp is rising, now 1,4c:rolleyes:, with a bit of a breeze picking up. Dewpoint is rising to, back up to -1.1c.
Tried to take a pic, but just coming out blurred. I must master the art..:D

I can't believe I go to London for the weekend and it's snowing in Dublin!!!

HOWEVER

Snowing pretty heavy here in West London (Twickenham) at the moment for the last half hour (since I got up) with snow sticking everywhere with the exception of pavements and roads.

I can confirm that it is still bucketing with snow here in London but would expect it be over within the next hour - approx. 2cms here now.

Looked out the window at 8:30 for the first time and there was snow on the roof of the gaden shed, on part of the kitchen roof, cars and some of the neighbours' lawns. At 9:00 there was none anywhere! After a min of -0.4, it's now already 3.5.

Still snowing here in London. Snowing continuously since 7.30am. A good 2 inches but melting away from underside (that has to be the most annoying noise - snow and dripping!!!). Will post a couple of photos tomorrow.

Fine sunny day down here in kerry:o. blue skies with little cloud cover. Has not made a lot of snow here in years.... just get rain ,rain and more rain.

Would definately have a covering here by morning if it persisted after dark (which is unlikely)
